Hachiko is a famous dog in Japan. He is known for waiting for his owner at Shibuya Station even after his owner had passed away. There is also a statue of Hachiko at Shibuya Station in Tokyo.

日本には、「忠犬ハチ公」という有名な犬の話があります。 ハチは、亡くなった飼い主の帰りを渋谷駅で待ち続けたことで知られています。 現在も東京の渋谷駅には、ハチ公の像があります。
